From the base of the lift to the station, which track, red or blue, on Gemini is longer and why?

Do you mean from the station to the base of the lift hill, or the base of the lift hill, through the entire course and back to the station?

...Except that the red track is a little longer from the station to the lift (because it goes around the outside of those two curves) and thus the race is usually won or lost right there...

From the lift hill back to the station, the blue track is the longer one.

The blue takes the first turn on the outside, the second on the inside, then the third on the outside again, making it the longer run.

I have seen them get the trains perfect as to they where exactly going up the lift together. Sadly I was not on it and did not get to see the winners. All those people from Michigan where on there shouting "GO BLUE" though. That was kind of funny.
