My first ride, AHH MY HEAD!

I rode it twice. I came off with a pounding head!

First ride: Waiting in line got me pumped up. We were in the middle. The best part of this ride is the launch. What a rush!!! I got a sensation that I have never felt on any ride befor. Unfortunatally, after it my head was pounding

Second Ride: Got back in line dispite my head. This time we were in the back. I had the same great sensation with the launch. But once again my head was pouding!

I didnt do much riding after this. Has anyone else got this, or do I have a coaster riding dissorder? I sure hope not!

I had a similiar experience........When we were launched forward everything was fine........then going backward my head hurt..When I got off Wicked Twister....I had a little headache. It wasnt to bad . It was just the part of going backwards that made my head hurt for some reason.

I rode it five times(two times in a row on two sperate occasions)and I never got off with a headach and have not woken up with any sort of pain or soreness.

No headach or soreness either. I think some people tense up too much when riding, it may cause the discomfort. Just relax and enjoy the ride, it's very smooth and totally reridable.

Yeah my head got bumped off the OTSR's a couple times... not fun, but I can deal witrh it for such a rush of a ride.

I was wondering if anyone felt a disoriented feeling while riding WT?  Also do you get a weird feeling going backwards?  I love riding coasters but never been to fond of ones that go backwards.  Just wondering how others have felt.

I got a headache a little after I got off the ride, but not during the ride.

::raising hand:: yup ... yup... me too.......I had a head ache too!!!

::laugh:: Going backwards is strange. I love the speed. Going backwards was o.k. ... but then when we started that twist, well.......... I think people take the twist for granted at first glance until they ride it!!!

Tuck your head when going up the rear spike. If you keep it forward and look out it gets a sudden jerk downward and twist. Just stay tucked and DON'T look around!

...but that's no fun! :)

I rode Wicked Twister twice in a row and I felt fine. Both times i was in the front seat. It was a great ride and I didnt have anything hurt afterwards.

Me neither. I felt great after riding...maybe it's just you old people...? :)

From other people's reactions of trying to power ride WT, I think you are the minority of "older" people that can take it. :) I just don't wee how anyone can get beat up at all--ride or G-wise.

Sorry,I really don't think age has anything to do with it. I'm 48 and haven't had any ill effects from riding. I rode 4 times in a row a couple weeks ago, and got off feeling invigorated. I would have ridden more except my husband doesn't fit, and after my 4 rides in 30 minutes, he wanted to go on something else.

BTW, 3 of those 4 rides were in the back row. My second one was near the front (only because I hadn't tried the front yet).

I've been in the back twice, front twice, and second to last once. It's a sweet ride...I hope the lines aren't that long for CM.

I have never had a problem so far on the ride. Did you keep your head back on the launch or did you have it forward?
