My Anticipation........

1975, my 1st visit to CP. I hitchhiked from Dearborn, Mich. as an 18 yr. old to see a new girlfriend. (I married her 5 months later) 1st coaster ever rode, Blue Streak. (Yes, at 18 yrs.)
1996, my 2nd trip to CP. A 4.5 hr. drive from Ky. and rode Magnum & Raptor & Mean Streak for 1st time. Not only the coasters, but the entire park grew fondly in my heart after that 2 day visit.
Since 85, I have been to PKI about 10 times, since I live closer. In fact, my company picnic will be there this year. (July 15) Of course the Beast was the ride of choice, then Vortex came and went (thrill-wise) and every subsequent visit to PKI became a more bitter pill to swallow. I will still visit PKI, but I just want to say this.
This Tuesday, and for three days this time, I will experience CP again. Yes, 3 times in 25 years. But this visit has been planned and excitedly anticipated by me and my wife since last summer. Yes, we are in love with Cedar Point. The excitment will be as fresh as anyones first time and with MF, well, what can I say.
I am not a member of any coaster club but I truly am an enthusiast. I have been to EPCOT more than CP, and live much closer to CP, but I will trade 20 visits to EPCOT to one CP. I have been to SFMM (Viper), IOA (Hulk, Dueling Dragons, Spiderman), BGT (Montu, Gwazi, Scorpion, etc.), PKI and even Camden Park! But I can say IMHO that pound for pound, Cedar Point has overtaken the above mentioned parks by far.
I am grateful for all of your help and comments and suggestions on MF and Raptor and how to get the best of the coasters, and I will take these with me and use them. I will be staying at the Breakers in the Park, something I have been wanting to do for the past 5 years, and for three days ride, ride, ride (and see a show or two).
Once again, thank you fellow coaster-funatics, and come this Tuesday, I will be thinking of you while smelling my own armpits on a 92 mph 80 degree fall.................................

3.5 days to MF!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a GREAT time at the one and only Cedar Point!!

14 and counting
See my Po!nt?
"Dont post if there is nothing to post about"
The reason I posted that is because I wanted others to know that I'm not saying I "love" CP because I live close to it or I go there all the time. I have never been a season pass holder at any park, just a once or twice per year attendee of parks. (except this year....BGT, IOA, MGM, and before the summers out, CP, & PKI )
the NUMBER one and only Cedar Point ;)

Whats life if you never get to the point?
