My 2007 trip [advises/tips]

^^^ Or why not just visit the Carousel Musuem right in Sandusky? They also refurbish and build new carousel horses there. A great, albeit fairly short, side trip. (Check for hours, which can be somewhat limited.)

Stay at Lighthouse Point and cook your own food, it will taste better and cost you less.

Hi,

I love visiting Cedar Point. I recently became a travel agent. So here's my 2 cents. Stay on the point and bring some food. If you decide to stay off the point, I know some ways to save some money. My email is ampember@sbcglobal.net.

No they are not. They are on Perkins Ave.

I have considered the LHP cabin for a long time, but a few thing made me discard that solution, although I would have loved to stay there. I don't think one bathroom is sufficient in the morning, when shared by six people (especially with my gf in the house ;) ). Also, I think everyone would want a decent bed to sleep in.

Coaster Junkie From NH
Working at MHT airport

I'm just bumping my old thread back up there... *BUMP*

Just want to say thanks to everyone for all the great tips and advices I got.

We're leaving for Detroit Tuesday afternoon, and getting our Maxx Passes w/Joe Cool Tuesday evening. We're spending a total of 4 days at the Point: Wed. 5/30, Thur. 5/31, Fri. 6/1 and Thur. 6/7. The rest of our trip will be spend at Kings Island, Holiday World, Geauga Lake and Niagara Falls.

So if anyone happens to see six silly Danish coaster-lovers, be sure to say "Hi" :) It's me, the missus, and four first-timers - I'll be wearing my Pointbuzz shirt some of the time. I'm REALLY looking forward to this trip, since I haven't been to Cedar Point since June 2005, and I will probably not be able to go again before 2010.

I'll be sure to write a nice TR :)

Hope your group has a great time, Ken. So are you like the official Cedar Point ambassador to Denmark? ;)

This thread made me sad, re-reading Mr. Scott's posts. :(

Yeah, I would say I am. I don't think any other Dane thinks about CP every day. But they probably have lives to live ;)

Yeah, I felt sad too reading Mr. Scott's posts again. But I also giggled at his response to my post.

Anyway, thanks Mike!
