Music In Millennium Force queue

A lot of times you hear music in the queue, a lot of it is stuff you hear a lot like just going in your car. Is there any songs though that you wish they wouldn't play like the ones that they add techo too. Some Techno in some songs should be left alone. The bridge over troubled waters song, I think the techo should stay out of that one. Give some thoughts of some cool songs that they should play. *** Edited 7/27/2004 5:36:21 AM UTC by Shawn Meyer*** *** Edited 7/27/2004 5:39:55 AM UTC by Shawn Meyer***
The play entirely too much Dixie Chicks in that particular queue. I haven't heard it as much in other queues, but MF's...WOW...too much.
Most of the music played while waiting in the Millennium Force que is chosen by the guests waiting in line and not by the DJ's themselves. There is one DJ who plays too much AC/DC and I like AC/DC, but I get tired of hearing there songs over and over.

Now, just wait a minute, Tony.

If the guests choose most of the music, why do you complain that THERE is one DJ who plays too much AC/DC? I happen to like THEIR music and never tire of it.

Certainly not as much as I tire of improper use of the English language.

Some of the DJ's pick the music. It's not always a guest.
Are you a Troll, DubbSlaw3? And just how do you know that "some" of the DJ's pick THEIR own music? It's been my expierence that most jocks don't have that choice. You play what you are told to play and make the most of it.

Yes, I agree MrScott. Whenever there is no DJ around, Techno is main thing I hear. They want the atmosphere of Cedar Point to be upbeat, so making Bridge over Troubled Waters a Techno song is perfectly alright.

Key word being most of the music, not all! If the DJ's do not have any requests then they can play music of there choice as long as it is what the park ok's to be played.

So, in other words, the park picks the music. Case Closed.

And when the "DJ's" do not have requests, they do NOT play "there choice". They play "their choice".

Case Closed, again.

LOL! :)

I know the DJs don't have a choice but would sound really cool going through the line? We can still come up with ideas of what would sound cool. I wouldn't mind hearing something from like Linkin Park, Newfound Glory or someone like that.

I know the DJ blue tag. They have a fair amount of latitude provided they're using common sense.

If the park picks the music then why do they hire DJ's to play the music? After 8:00 pm. their are no DJ'S and then the park plays the music that it has recorded! Since the park is a "family park" some music is not apporiate to play at the park. That is the only limitations that the DJ's have. Like Jeff said, it is just common sense.

I've requested Freebird at both MF and Raptor and got it played both times. Nothing like rocking out to an amazing song like that in line. Or better yet, on Raptor I could hear it from the brakes outside of the station. The people next to me probably thought I was having a seizure or something, but it was quite a good time.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

That's hilarious! I can get into my music sometimes, I'll start singing and dancing around, it depends on my mood. So I see where your coming from.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

We hear ya Ralph!

I thought it would be the remix of What a Wonderful World that would get a reaction.

I love our DJ at MF!...haha...as for the normal queue music I would say the worst one is the Breakfast at Tiffanys techno remix...along with several others...when you hear those 5 cds all summer...it begins to get monotonous...hope everyone is having a great summer...once i get this red tag off, and become a college student again I will be posting more again!...
