Multi-element Wooden Coaster

Alright, I live right between Cedar Point and Kings Island and I have season passes to both. I was in line last year, and I just got reminded of a conversation I had with someone. I'm not sure how, but here it is. This guy claimed to be the son of someone important at CP (I call BS) and he talked like he knew what he was talking about (second BS). He claimed how the Looping Wooden Coaster is the 'novelty' of the Roller Coaster world. He was saying how CP would someday get a Multi-Element Wooden Coaster. Of course, this isn't true, but... do you think it'd be possible? And if so, would it be any fun?

Just for reference, I've ridden Son Of Beast many times, but I was very dissapointed. Maybe it was the 300 helixes in a row or the lack of senery. But whatever it is, I think it's pretty overated. What do you think?

With today's technology, I don't doubt anything but something tells me we're not gonna be seeing one. As for SOB being overrated, what are you talking about? I have heard nothing but bad things about that ride! I think it's a little under-rated. Personally I loved it but all I ever hear is that it's boring and rough, same as Mean Streak.

I find MS to be a very smooth coaster in comparison to SOB. I won't ride MS as much anymore because of how rough it is, but I will never ride SOB again. Twice was more than enough chances to give that ride.

I seriously doubt CP will get anything like SOB. Maybe in the future a looping woodie, but it's highly unlikly in my opinion.

As far as SOB goes, I have had incredably rough rides, and remarkably smooth rides, it's very tempremental. It does rate high on my list though.

When I went to PKI in 2000, I was in for a shock as far as rough rides go. I was always used to the smooth as glass coasters at CP. They have The Beast, Vortex, OL:FoF (back then it still have OTSR), and SOB. I liked the rides because getting thrown around adds to the fun, but I can't see how people complain about Corkscrew, Magnum, Mantis, and MS as being rough compared to all the ones at PKI.

I can't wait to go back to PKI because I had a great time. I liked how SOB thrust you down into your seat on the first helix. I haven't felt those kind of forces until closing weekend on MF's yellow train. That thing was cooking, and at the bottom of the first two drops, I was pushed down into my seat. Those were some good times.

I doubt we'll see a multi-element woodie, but you never know what Intamin has in their bag of tricks if they build a mega woodie.
