Multi-colored track

Someone mentioned a drag racing theme...putting that together with the two different color track that's arrived, I've come up with this possibility...
Could it be a RACING coaster with duel tracks?

I wouldn't count on it.

On topic, I do not think a racing or dueling coaster is a possibility, although it would be kind of cool. Didn't everyone want WT to be a racer?

How many other coasters have more then one color of track. Not like Blue with white rails, but Some all red and some all white?

Don't know if any other coaasters have more than one color track, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. I can't see TWO 400+ coasters.

Why not? I can't think of any coasters that have a single track that goes from one solid color to another solid color. A mixture, yes, but not solid. Two different colors and the name "dragster", why wouldn't be a racer? Those of you saying "no" are probably the same people that said CP would never build two coasters in two years. Yet, here we are. Also, just think of what the capacity of this ride is going to have to be.... Xcelerator does not have the capacity of MF.

Actually, Corkscrew at Michigan's Adeventure has two different solid colors on the track. The track is all orange, but the track on the corkscrews are gold, easily making it one of the ugliest color schemes I've seen. I fear if CP is adding a coaster where the track changes from one color to the next, it may be very gaudy, and stick out as an eye-sore.

Especially if it's white and red... it's an odd color scheme unless your a candy cane at Christmas.

It could actually be a bigger version S:TE. S:TE has 2 tracks why can't this one have three red , white, and blue.

Don't forget Air at Alton Towers. The top of the lift hill is black, while the rest of the ride is light blueish.

Yet, that is because of the height limit. I doubt Cedar Point has anything like that :)

How about Texas Tornado at Six Flags Astroworld, or a few other Schwarzkoph coasters that have different colored loops?

I don't think we will see a combination of red, white, and blue track, and if we do it will probably be limited to the launch, or station... even though it is patriotic it would probably look tacky, but that is just my opinion. The colors don't make the ride though, so I could care less. :)

Wicked Twister doesn't have the capacity of MF, either... what's your point? And, correct me if I'm wrong, but Xcelerator's capacity is higher than WT.

Don't get me wrong, I would love for it to be a racer/dueler... but I really don't think it's going to happen.

I can't picture a patriotic coaster with yellow supports... I think CP would have ordered supports in red white or blue. maybe it will be alternateing red & white to give a speed illuision like the white lines on the highway.... But I still praying for dueling/ racing coaster , it makes more sense being a dragster themed ride . It would make a mega capacity ride. since jeff pooh-poohed the idea about a dueling coaster , maybe its a racing coaster ???? who knows ? I just want to take a minute out and say

Net, many of of that are denying the a duel coaster did in fact think that we would get one...at 400 feet...we're just trying to be realistic. At the same time we are not getting our hopes up. It it would happen that there is a dueling 400 footer, then sweet, but it's really not too probable.

Also, if the ride has 2 stations like MF...capacity could be increased dramatically.

Knott's claims that Xcelerator has a capacity of 1300 pph, which is pretty darn good. CP claims that MF has a capacity of 1600 pph and WT has a capacity of 1000 pph.
