Mufflehards Pool & Bar

I just had a quick question about Muffleheads Pool & Bar. I am 26 so I have been there before and I know that the first time you go in, they check your ID at the gate, and give u a bracket to let the bar tender know. When I was there on Sunday, the group next to me all had brackets saying that their ID had been checked. But the one bar tender still carded them. Is this a new policy or is it just because they were busy? NOT complaining, just curious.

Not a new policy that I have seen. I've never witnessed anyone being carded once they enter Muffleheads. Once your ID is checked at the gate and you have your wristband, not sure the purpose of checking and ID again.

Probably a bartender being diligent, the bartender is the licensed operator and would receive a fine if they served a minor. Regardless of some random person from some random country checking IDs at the gate.

Probably checking ID's to preserve his position. CP does random spot checks on all alcohol servers all season long. You serve a minor, you lose your job.

Talking to a bartender at Bay Harbor they all just went through mandatory training about checking IDs and she said they will most likely be more diligent through the park for a while. Of course not everybody cares the same so it will probably be inconsistent.

Where is this bar located? Wouldn't mind stopping in forma drink or two or any other bar on the property for that matter

It's in Cedar Point Shores (formerly Soak City) lakeside underneath the large slide complex. It can be accessed by paths between the large slide complex located next to the lazy river or a path from the wave pool next to the rapid river entering underneath Magnum.

Theres also a new bar, not swim up, adjacent to the wave pool. The absolute benefit for Muffleheads Bar is you must be 21+ to enter, No Kids, No Babies, No Teens not even with a parent. Its a great getaway from the general waterpark madness.
