MSN.com ranks top 10 parks

This morning after checking my Hotmail, I noticed a blurb on the MSN homepage talking about the top 10 amusement parks. They weren't in any particular order, but sure enough, CP was on the list. Six Flags Astroworld was the only SF park to make the list.

The list can be found by clicking here.

The blurb about CP can be found here.

The amusing thing is they think CP has 69 rides, TTD is 410 feet tall, and the Imax theatre is still around.

None of those mistakes compare to the fact that Six Flags Astroworld is in the top 10. I can't think of a worse park.

It's even worse - it mentions "Cinema 180," which isn't IMAX. Anyone been to any of those animal shows? This year?

I wonder if the inaccuracies extend to the other pages as well. Remind me not to look there for information on other parks.

Ok they must have either made that stuff up or got the information from somewhere none other than Cedar Point itself which would have the accurate information.

Also note that they are in alphabetical order.
For Kennywood, it says that the Phantom is the park's only steel coaster. They forgot The Exterminator and, if you want to get technical, the Lil' Phantom. MSN got the number of coasters right, but just forgot about the Exterminator being steel, I guess.

That is pretty bad, but is it worse than Camp Snoopy in the Mall of America? Both of those shocked me but Camp Snoopy? Come on.

At least Camp Snoopy is a little bit unique. Aworld on the surface is just another Six Flags park with more borrowed rides than most. I haven't been there in a few years (I live in Houston and love amusement parks, that says something) so maybe the place has improved some.

Yeah, Cinema 180 used to be at Geauga Lake. It was a cheesy inflatable dome type place.

Holy Crap! How did Carowinds make the list?

Top 10?!?!

That's really funny! I know that it isn't that bad of a park, and it's good for a small family park, but Come on! Carowinds? I have a right to complain, it is my homepark (although CP is MY park). Oh well.
