moving to illinois, closer to the point!

Ive lived in Florida all my life (im 14) so I have only been to the point once.   Now Im gonna be moving to springfeild illinois. Do any of you know how long of a drive it would be from there to CP?

You will have about a 7 1/2 hr. drive to get to CP.

Lucky you! You will get to experience snow! And there are other parks that you can enjoy as well as CP. There is MIchigan's Adventure, Holiday World, and north of Chicago is Six Flags. I almost forgot Paramount's Kings Island in Ohio as well

And trust us, you haven't actually seen real winter yet. If you'll be there by January or February, get ready to freeze your butt off! :)

I live outside Toledo Ohio..and I can get to Chicago in less then 4 hours...So maybe..you can make it here in about 5-6...think...SPEED!

Actually as you'll be in Springfield you still won't get to experience "real" winter, but it'll be closer then what you're used to.  Living in Iowa my whole life I found out that I've had tougher winters from you folks in Ohio after talking to some people from Cleavland and Columbus going to college at Cornell College.

I know what you mean Midway Man... no snow up here in Michigan either. It's a little over a week until Christmas, and I've still got the mentality that it's October. We've got all the cold you could want, and plenty of rain, but no snow... very un-Michigan like. Sigh...
