I'm just curious, is it just my imagination or is Skyhawk alot less likely to cause motion sickness. I know that everytime I ride any swinging ship or MaXair I get sick, so I was a little worried about Skyhawk. I rode it 5 times and never felt sick at all, is this true for other people as well? I have a friend going with to Cedar Point in a few weeks and really want her to ride Skyhawk, but she says she gets sick on swinging rides. I was just wondering if anybody ever felt sick on this ride.
No, I'm sure there are plenty of people who share our affliction, though there will likely be less here, since its an enthusiast site.
I've used Dramamine before, and it seemed to work well for rides that usually leave me a tad light-headed. Although, taking it causes some drowsiness, though it was hard for me to notice on top of my other "medication".

Dramamine.
Though, I like your spelling better. :)
Personally, I've found that the drowsiness isn't bad at all. There is a bit of a relaxed feeling with it, but that's not necessarily a bad thing - it makes me less fidgety in long lines. Also, there is a "Non-Drowsy" Dramamine, though I imagine the potentcy of the actual motion-sickness drug is lessened.

Found this to be interesting.
