Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there, and especially to my mom. Stop by the Candle Shop and say hi to her and Rose, the candlemaker, when you're in the park.
Didn't know you were there today? Darn I was by the Candle shop today and knew I should have gone in, but didn't. In other news, the park seemed dead after 5:00pm due to Mothers Day. I think a lot of people left early to spend time with their Mothers today. I don't blame them, I would have done the same thing, but my mom was working. Oh well I will make it up to her!
We spent Mother's Day there. Not sure why since my wife really does not like the park but she always wants to go their on her day. In fact she was bummed a few years back when they were not open for Mother's Day. She says seeing her kids be happy is the perfect gift.
I thought it was a nice treat that if you stopped by the table they had set up you could get a 1/2 off coupon for Midway Market.
