What is the most unique item from Cedar Point that you own? Mine would have to be a 3ft by 4ft poster of an arieal shot of Cedar Point. I went to teraserver.com and copied the little pictures to make a big one of the park, then I saved it on a zip disk. For a birthday gift, my dad and brother went to Kinkos and got a high quailty poster made from that picture. It cost around $120 and I think is well worth it. You can get a cheaper photo of lesser quailty for $12 also. The only down side is that half of the park pictured is from 1997 and the other half is from 1996, but everything is on there up to Mantis. If anybody is interested it getting one of these, e-mail me at Sapman@anfmail.com . It is a 20.5 MB file. The main reason I got this done was to see how much land there is available for future devlopment, including the parking lot.

I have about 300 skeeball tickets from the mid 70's. Not sure why I never threw them away, but they're probably the only thing that I own that isn't "run-of-the-mill" souvenir stuff.

It's not who votes that counts.
It's who counts the votes!
Employee stuff, like the blues jogging suit, a complete season (1997) of "Behind the Lines" employee newsletters, and my Iron Dragon operator's manual. Shhh! *Grin*

A ribbon from an employee picnic to Cedar Point.
This is what's on the ribbon:
Twelth
Annual Excursion.
Huber Mfg. Co.
Employes.
To Cedar Point
Saturday, Aug. 21,
1897.
The ribbon is all red with the words in black.
Also there is a picture with an old farm tractor on it. The tractor is in black just like the words.
*Note: the word employees on the ribbon is spelled employes.
That is my most unique Cedar Point item that I have. The ribbon is in very good condition considering that it's 103 years old.
One more thing that I consider to be unique. I have at least one Cedar Point item from every decade starting from the 1890's all the way up on till the present decade.

I like my ice cream soda candle served in a 1970's soda can with the old CP logo. (I know the candle shop still sells them.)
Also I found an old CP salt & pepper shaker (blue, old style telephone with 70's logo) at a flea market last year.. Paid only $0.25!

Not so "unique" but kind of odd. I have collected tons of keychains over the past 3 years. I started attaching them to the zipper on my purse last year. So now I have 15 keychains, 1 pic of my kids and I taken @ CP, and 2 of those view finder pics hanging off my purse.
Needless to say-ANYONE can hear me coming cause they all makes tons of noise!
My most proud CP items would probably have to be the small Mantis pin (not button-pin) I got in '96 I have never seen them again after that year. I also am quite proud of my Millennium Force Press Preview 2000 shirt!

What I want for Christmas: Mike Piazza!!!
I have an old coin marking the CP Centennial in 1970. It was given to guests as they entered the park, and has the old CP logo with a 1870-1970 engraving on it, and some words commemorating the centennial.
Not so unique, but my 3 pennies I had pressed with America's Rollercoast, Raptor, and MF.
All I have is a little sawdust-filled orange turtle that a co-worker gave me. I have no idea how old it is, but it sits on the mantel with my Skee-Ball prizes...
--Dave Althoff, Jr.
Hmmmmm....
My most unique: A tie between a mini-iron rocking chair pincushion that has a picture of sailboat and "Cedar Point, Sandusky Ohio" on the headrest and a half of a mug (yes, a half) that says "You asked for a half a cup of coffee!" and has the CP logo on the back.
My Favorite: My Millennium Force media preview shirt and my MF employee hat.
That's about all.....Dan beats me........and if anyone who used to work there wants to give up their blue windsuit, let me know...it'd be a wonderfull addition to my collection.
