More than two days

first, can the park be done in two days if its in late june?

and say if i wanted to stay 3, perhaps 4 days, what would be the best approach admission-wise?

I can do the park in one day in June so that wont be a problem. If you're going to go to the park 3 or 4 times I would suggest buying a season pass, if I remember right they are about 100 right now but check out Cedar Point's website for sure.

You can "do" the park in one day. That basically means that you'll go commando style and hit all the major rides and coasters.

Two days will allow you to slow down your pace a bit and hit some favorites more than once.

Three days or more gives you a chance to do most of the rides multiple times or sit back and have a drink, see some shows, check out a good meal or some shopping, or spend some time over at Soak City - which is a completely different experience than the park.

Different strokes, depends on what you want.

I would look into package deals if you are planning to stay at Breakers. A few years ago, I got a package deal and it saved me a lot of money. It gives you a couple of funday tickets, or maybe more, I don't really remember. But, if you're not staying at Breakers, or a hotel hat doesn't offer a package, the season pass would probally be a good idea, especially if you are planning to hit Soak city as well.

As for hitting the park in two days...it is doable. Definately if you know what you are doing. I would say to hit the big rides at the begining or end of the day, and then the smaller coasters in the afternoon. If you stay at a hotel that gives you ERT, I would use it for TTD or MF. Also, take full advantage of the Freeway system. As long as you do this, and not on a Saturday, you could probally hit all of the rides, easilly.

last i checked out the packages they give you two starlite tickets, and two full day passes.

they might offer other options as well, but i think that is the basic package offered.

We thought Breakers....but then are now shying away from it because it too expensive (had about 5 going, now down to 2-3). The Best Western off the causeway seems like our choice.

For three days, if we got season passes, can you buy those and get them processed w/o paying any day admissions? Cause then it would be a better deal. If we went with a ride and slide 2-day and then a single day admission, it would only be about $10 more before tax. And also, what will CP do if you dont want to visit Soak City on the ride and slide 2-day passes?

Thanks for all the help thus far. Hoping to leave to go to the park in late June. Heading to Sarasota, FL at the beginning of the month, and also hitting up BGT down there as well. *** Edited 5/14/2004 3:38:58 AM UTC by digerati***

You absolutely can buy season passes and get your id without paying for park admission. Just go to the season pass center located outside the park, to the left of the main gate. *** Edited 5/14/2004 3:40:52 AM UTC by Pete***

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

We did the entire park on 6 hours once in July (Top Thrill Dragster was down for the day). Granted, the weather was quite uncooperative, but it worked out well in the end since nobody was there. The speed at which you get through the park heavily depends on the crowds and weather. A season pass is also the best way to go too.
