Hey Geek, give the guy a break it's his birthday. By the way, what are you, an English teacher?

Thanks grady!

Let's Get Weird.

No Prob., just going to miss your big b-day trip, I will be there the 14th and 15th.

No, it just kind of bugs me when people use poor grammar/spelling skills, it really isn't that hard to push the "shift" key and use commas every now and then when needed.

I do hope you have a good birthday though by the way. I just went two days ago for a four day trip and had a great time.

Geek, I understand your point, but sometimes you just have to live and let live. It may bug some people, me included, when others have to point out every little spelling or punctuation error. I am a horrible speller, as I am sure you can tell, but I will take anybody on when it comes to math or science, those are my strong points. My point is, it just makes those errors even more annoying when there is 2 or 3 posts after them pointing out everything the poster did wrong, Just as this thread has done, me included. Ughhhh, I just annoyed myself. ;)

But there was only 1 post pointing it out. So it hadn't hit your annoyance threshold yet. ;)

Grady, have you ever read a post on here that has to do with a math problem? I have, and there have been times when there have been some mistakes in the math. Everyone corrects that, because Math needs to be exact. I agree that math needs to be exact, but there are procedures and rules to follow in the English language just like there are in math. Why can't the English language be more exact?

Jeff Young

That is a great question, and as we all know English is one of the hardest languages to master. Also, unlike English, math is a universal, worldwide, language.

First trip June 23rd

No, I think you missed my point. My point is if we expect math to be exact, why can't we expect English to be exact? Yes, the language is difficult to learn, but most of the things that people gripe about on this website deal with little things such as punctuation and spelling. I'm not saying it has to be perfect all the time, but it could certainly be better.

Edit-Punctuation Error ;) *** Edited 6/9/2006 4:48:16 PM UTC by Jeff Young***

I just turned 14 and I seem to spell fine ;) And you forgot to capitalize the ''m'' on Monday and "misspelled" has no space between it. K, I'm done. ^__^

Hey dude, you misspelled "you".

e x i t english-

No, I thought it just sounded stupid saying "Sorry for picking on you." So I said "Sorry for picking on ya" instead. It's not like I did that accidentally.

Anyways, good luck on your first date, Your mom is to fat to ride TTD!
