Mission Bermuda Triangle's '04 Overhaul.

In case some of you hadn't heard, the park was in the midst of renovating Mission Bermuda Triangle, the Sea World Simulator opened in 2001. Six Flags had run up their lease on the film, and choose to purchase the rights to Stargate-SG 3000. Anyway, the work has been going on for a while now, I suppose, but with the announcment of the closing of the midway, this puts CF in an interesting possition. I suppose they will have to choose whether to...

A)Complete the work already started, or abandon the project, leaving the ride un-able to be used.

B)Open the rides in the Happy Harbor area, like the Bounty pirate ship, and the children's climbing area, and close off the midway at two points: Next to the Pirate's 4-D theatre, and also the short bridge that takes guests to the Batman Ski Stadium.

I would think that because CF is already paying for the rights to Stargate, whether they like it or not, they might as well open that small part of the wildlife midway where there are only rides. They would have to close up the entrance to Shark Encounter, but that is the only animal exhibit in the area. By doing so, you have a marketable new attraction, (Stargate SG-3000), plus the guest favorite Pirates 4-D, and 7 rides, plus the Happy Harbor Net Climb area.

Obviously they said they would be closing the Wildlife Midway, but do you think CF would ever be interested in opening that small part up?

Easiest fix for that scenerio: Make Shark Encounter into... Shark EnQuarter Games! Kind of what they did to the aquarium in its final years at the Point: board up the windows and put video games in front of them.

mmm All I have to say is I actually liked the simulator ... first time I was in one was last year, not to mention I love the show so if they decided to put it in afterall would be fabulous.

I was really looking forward for the the new simulator film. I also wanted to see pirates again for some reason I like that movie

It will be a beautiful view from the ferris wheel. Looking over at the former wild life section gets leveled.
