Miss Teen America

I thought this was a little interesting. I was reading through a souvenir book from 1969 (found in my grandmother's belongings after she passed) and saw that Cedar Point, Inc "owned" the Miss Teen America Pageant back then. What a strange business deal for an amusement park.

Of course, with all of the BUNAC kids they hire these days maybe they should consider buying the rights to the Miss World Pageant.

They used to have the Miss Ohio pageant in the ballroom in July each year. I remember watch that on Cleveland TV in the late 60's.

And here i was hoping for some sort of special 'event' for closing weekend. This thread disappoints.

There is a good chance I watched that 1967 pageant. I was but a child ya know.
