That’s probably why I didn’t enjoy Fury 325 as much as everyone else seems to. It was cold out and operations sucked.

Could be. My very first ride on Millennium Force back in 2000 was a cold, dreary morning. It was great, but left me going "really, that's it?" If it's a cold day and the ride is sluggish, there are times I have gotten virtually no airtime on either of the airtime hills. On a warm day when the ride is in typical fashion, that airtime is great!

Going this weekend made me think it's less feasible for CP to have WinterFest...
Oh add in the staffing nightmare too that would 100% happen.
If you look at KI's Winterfest attractions, the only coasters will be MT and I think a kiddie coaster. Staffing is likely what would cause the problems, but if the park is only running at a very limited capacity, they don't need as much staff.

I know Rougarou valleyed with guests on board about 2 years ago. That's a different story. When it valleyed, that was because a guest's sweater got caught in the wheels.
I didn't know that.

^ Thabto, a lot of people didn't know that actually. The sweater was burnt up through the wheel. When things like that happen, the object (in this case a sweater) basically becomes melted plastic.

Someone added this picture to the CP Rundown post about it happening.

My sister posted that. We had just gotten out of line for Mine Ride when she took that picture. Some of the people on that train were not very happy about being stuck there. I saw a few people flipping the bird to people getting off the ride. It was very strange to see Mine Ride valley as I don't ever remember being at the park and seeing something like that happen before.
Kind of the opposite of valleying, I always remember the Jumbo Jet would sometimes not make it off the lift spiral. The hot rail was probably about a foot too short. On busy Saturdays, they’d station a maintenance guy up there to give the train a push when needed.
