Millennium Mania pass

Has anybody else used the exit passes that were given out during MM last fall when MF was down? I did and was disappointed when we had to go through the special access gate into the normal line. I thought we could get on in the unload station and ride from there. It ended up being a little better than Freeway, not that good of a perk. It was called an "exit pass" after all.

Just wondering if the employee was mistaken or is that how it is?

Still beats waiting through the queue... or 15 minutes on the ramp with a freeway.

The problem is when people board from the unload platform this causes for some unrest in the load platform because people have taken their seats. It's much easier to "deal" with it by passing people though the special access gate. At that point you are on the next train anyway which would be sitting in unload at the time you gave them the ticket (could be an extra train depending on when the line moves).

OK so it's not immediate boarding, more like ultra freeway. I used one of mine on 4th of July when the fireworks started. It was a sweet ride looking down at the fireworks from 310''11" above.

I agree with you gecko. Last year those passes got you a front car ride with absolutely no wait. I wasn't a happy camper this year when I discovered that it is no longer the case. I also thought that they should have gave out more than one pass a day as well. I would give up ALL my passes if they would bring back Millennium Mania again. Man was that a good time.....

I'm going to miss Millennium Mania as well. We got more riding in on our favorite rides than we do all season long. I'd even be willing to pay a higher price for it.

Me too! :( Well said. I'd be willing to pay a little more if they brought it back this year. It is totally worth it to me.

I used mine and got right on but then again I used it for Mean Streak (one of my favorite coasters in the park call me crazy) heck, I even got the front seat and since it was at night it was a great ride.

Well, better later than never.... I finally used my Millennium Mania MF free ride pass on labor day. I couldn't have worked out sweeter either. The line was at least 1hr 1/2 long and early in the morning we "Freeway-ed" it and got stamped from 2-3. At 2pm we came back and had a less than 10 minute wait to get on. Immediately right afterwards we used our boarding passes which we were instructed we had to use the special access gate at the top of the exit for about a less than 1 minute wait. Very sweet indeed!!! 2 rides in 10 minutes with a 90 minute long line! Hee Hee! It acutally worked out kind of funny. Our first ride was on Yellow and by the time we made it back around with our passes, we were right back on the Yellow train again.

I didn't use mine. I gave mine to a friend that had one so her and her dad could ride Millennium Force together. I probably would've never used mine anyway.

How could you use a MF pass for Mean Streak? It was my understanding that these were only for MF, I guess I should have actually read the whole ticket then, eh? The bigger question is why would anyone rather go on Mean "beat you up" Streak rather than MF?!?
