Millennium Force virgin

August

technically Sunday morning

1:37 a.m.

I had stood in lone slowly snaking my way through the turnstyles of Millennium Force station for over an hour and thirty minutes.  The rest of the park had long since been close with this and the Force photo center being the only sign of life at all.  I boarded the front end of the very last car on the blue train.

Darkness.

Then ambient light.  Light from the 310 foot machine of awesome power.  This was different.  The sound was not familiar.  No clinking.  No ratcheting metallic vibrations.  Just smooth dull roar of steel on wheel.  I was losing sight of the people in front of me.  Bit by bit, they dipped below my field of vision.  Then soon, so did I.

Flooding emotions wracked my body as I plummeted down that first hill at a record-breaking 93 miles per hour.  The rest of the trip seemed like a strange dream or bizarre trip on some illegal hallucinogen.  I rememberd to smile for the camera in the second tunnel, or at least point my screaming face at it as we lit by the everflashing mechanical device.

Returning to the station, I was still as a mountain of granite.  The only movement generated was from my involuntary organs surprisingly still in excellent condition.
Turning my head, I witnessed CP Anne writhing in giggles with her hunk of a man, Brian.  My first ride on Millennium Force was a complete success.  There will be another encounter.  I promise.

If a night ride on MF could be into words, you've definitely accomplished that.

It was an awesome awesome AWESOME RIDE!  It was the crowning achievement to a 5 year hiatus from any park in general let alone from Cedar Point.  I've never been so pleasantly dipped, dropped, spun, hurled, and flung.  I am so going back again thanks specifically to Millennium Force.
Sounds like Millennium Force left the same impression on Wade as it left on me :) only Wade can describe it alot better than I ever could.

Very nice to meat both yous guys again.  Did not that red garter show kick bootay?  As a foot fet guy, I took attentive notice to the dancer's shoes.  Ooooo... me liked.  I been away from CP much too long.
C'mon now...this is a family site. What you, Rob, and Jess do in your spare time is your business, but please, there are teenagers here! ;) LOL!

Oh puhhleeeease.... you think the Red Garter isn't a family place?  And if you think foot fet is pushing the line, you have no idea what sick twisted thoughts I embody in my skull... however, if you wish to just talk about what I originally began saying when I started this thread, then okiedokie.  I'll settle down on the shoes that make me happy and focus back on MF.  :-)
Sounds like someone had their caffeine this morning. :)

getting back in focus, can anyone explain the difference between night rights and day rides on MF?  What should I expect when riding the beast in daylight?
Pretty much the same ride except you feel more vulnerable. In my opinion, way more people freak out during the day because they are somewhat aware of the ride, while during the night, all you can make out in the overbank finale. A ride during the day is very scenic, and you can see the boneyard on the cross-over hills. :)

You get a nice view of the whole park, and the 182 ft. 3rd hill, on the right side. I usually turn around and look how far away from the station the train is. You should enjoy the view while you can though, because about 2/3 of the way up, the lift kicks into high gear.

you fool, didn't you read the post when I started this thread?  I've already ridden the force at night!  You can't get much more nighttime than 1:37 in the a.m..   i want to know what it's like in the daylight!!!
woahh! Be nice, he understood your question wrong! :) Anyways from my opinon, when you ride during the day, you feel alot more out in the open, as at night time I think you  feel more secure...probably because you can't really see what's beside you going up the massive hill! And of course in the day you can actually SEE the ride track itself ( If you keep your eyes open) and it's a much better view if you actually care! But night or day, both AMAZING, but 2 different experiences that hold a favorite spot to everyone.
What's wrong? Now doesn't someone feel sheepish...;)
