millennium force ride night!

so me and addidas or out here waitin on the ride night and it is broken down! This sucks the line is pretty long for platinum pass holders! We will keep you posted!

CANCELLED!!!! Rescheduled for July 24th!!

They're running a fantastic ERT track record this year, ain't they?

Glad I missed it . . .

Yeah...I was rather disappointed that we had to wait that long only to get cancelled...it happens though. Hopefully the next two ride nights will run better.

I waited it out until about 10:30 and then gave up hope. What time did the park call it quits?

It would have been nice if they would have sent an op out to explain to guests that the ride was down. The line stretched over to the railroad crossing and then switched back along the fence and was back almost to red garter when I left. I was over near the railroad crossing and no one in line knew what was going on.

they called it quits at about 11:15, but the worst thing was that they said they couldn't get it up and running in time for ride night and 5 mins after they cancelled and everyone walked away they started sending empty trains through! There were alot of unhappy people when they saw that!

That happened to me with TTD's ride night last year. It was the only one I was able to make and they closed it..... Even though I had the last public ride and it was fine. They said it it wasnt running well all day and they wanted to give it a rest.

Yeah, imagine how you would feel if you traveled from Nebraska for the event. I really enjoyed seeing the train run laps empty.

I thought they were going to switch it to dragster i saw them testing it but no they didnt.

My brothers and I have platinum passes and we were at Cedar Point yesterday but we wearn't going to stay for the ride night because my brother had to work at 6 in the morning and we had a 2 hour ride back home. But we decided not to ride Millenium yesterday until it got dark....bad choice!! We got in line at about 9pm and we made it up the ramp to the exit station and it broke down. It was about 9:30pm. It sucked. So we didn't get to ride it at all! :(

I guess the ride nights are soo bad even the coasters don't like them.:)

was thinking about heading out, but decided it wasn't worth driving 4 hours straight home, after being there 5 full days so far this year. Glad we chose not to go. Also was one of those unfortunate souls that got screwed for Dragster ride night. I wonder why they've been so unlucky this year?

Thanx for the info guys. I wondered how it turned out. When I saw MF wasn't running (after I had gotten out of TTD's line when that one broke down) I rode Maverick twice. I walked back to MF and saw everyone in line as described. I kept on walking, betting it wouldn't run that night. The maintenance cart was at the top of the lift hill in under an almost full moon in the clouds. Kind of eerie.

I imagine it wasn't moved to TTD because that was down. I bet it wasn't moved to Maverick because they had something going on at 6 am the next day according to a ride op. That would have been brutal on them.

I actually lucked out with the TTD ERT. I wasn't able to make it on the original date. But I have to say, that even with less Platinum pass holders for the re-scheduled TTD, there were still more there than Joe Cool the past 2 years. I got 5 TTD ERT rides (not complaining a bit) compared to 8 the previous two years (others got 10 or 11 but I'm not an overzealous single rider :) )

So I don't know about the Platinum ERT's. I can do my own personal ERT ride 'til you drop on weekdays in May as well as Friday Night HalloWeekends. The weird weather day after Memorial day was another one like that when I rode Maverick 7 times in an hour. It takes 1.5 minutes to run onto the seat from the entrance if you care to know. I don't recommend it though. You could sprain an ankle. But I had to do it just once.

MF broke down earlier that same night at about 8 o clock. it was down for about a half hour. a train got stuck on the hill, they got it going and they didnt stop till i left.

I wasn't able to make it to TTD ride night, and did not know it was canceled. Did the reschedule already take place and is there still one for Magnum?

The magnum ert is being switched to maverick.

I would have been there for the Magnum ride night, but since they switched it I probably won't be back until Halloweekends.
