Millennium Force promo video

Does anyone have the link to the promo video that CP put out for MF? With the theme music and the M symbol showing up everwhere?

That Video of Millennium Force brings back memories. I remember when Millennium Force was first announced. That video was one video I would watch just because of how pumped up I was about the new ride. I would watch that video all the time and that would follow with me watching for construction updates everyday.

That MF promo video is so freakin' awesome.

Glad to see the video, but my son gave me a bit of a laugh. . .

he noticed the MF video says 12 coasters. . .

he replied, "only 12 coasters" :)

I just re-watched the video, my son must have been referring to the "12 steel coasters in one park" statement.

Ya I remember when Millenium Force came out and I was so excited. I live in Virginia and I had even heard of MF! That ride was such a big deal. Everyone around the world had heard of it before it was a year old! Of course i never got to The Point until seven years later! haha.

Those posted above are all very nice, but does anyone know were the one for Mantis is? Thats the one I can't find.

WTF? All these years I thought that was a lift hill and a bunny hill connected. I never thought it was a "M". Is it a "M" or what I said?

Well, what do you see when looking at it? Do you see an 'M'? Do you see 2 hills? Do you see both? Does it really matter?

I always saw it as 2 hills, but I can see the 'M' too.

True. But looking at Mille It has an overbank after the first hill not an airtime hill so now Im gonna call it a "M". Thats weird that I have never seen that.

Oh my gosh, I love Absolutely Amazing commerical. That is my favorite and it has my favorite song.Lol.

Ahh. The good ol' MF promo video! The reason my parents first took me to Cedar Point. It brings back good memories!

Even though it's not a real commercial, it should be.

It says in this promo video, as well as in other MF promo materials, that CP broke ten world records with MF, two of which were:

Most coasters in a park - 14

Most steel coasters in a park -12

But that would mean that CP had only two wooden coasters at that time, which is not true. CP had four wooden coasters (Blue Streak, Mine Ride, Gemini, Mean Streak) and ten steel coasters (Corkscrew, Wildcat, Iron Dragon, Magnum, Raptor, Disaster Transport, Mantis, Jr. Gemini, Woodstock Express and Millenium).

Am I missing something or should that 12 have been a 10? (This bothered me when it first came out but then I forgot about the whole thing, but now this reminded me.)

Your thoughts?

Gemini and CCMR are built with a wooden structure but have a steel tubular track so they are called a steel coaster

Actually they are called hybrids or if we want to be really specific CCMR is a mine ride and gemini is a hybrid.

I liked the commerical from last year with the really deep voice that said "Ride On". Anybody know where that is?
