Millennium Force POV

After just have completed an assignment that required computer animation, I have really come to appreciate the detail and attention put into the MF POV, and all other computer animated POV's out there, it took three days and 30 hours to make a 15 second video clip of a building. *** This post was edited by Bob Dole on 12/15/99. ***

Hey Jeff, can you give us a hint when the complete POV might come out? (Assuming you know)

I dunno, but Stephanie (my finacee) called me at work and said there's a video tape that arrived in the mail today from a certain amusement park...

Isn't it ironic that the day we bring this up they post the new POV/Commercial. They have got to be monitoring our discussions. Who are they? I don't know if we'll ever know (X-Files theme song) doo do dooo do doooo doo.

No... it's all planned. It's no coincidence. It's been coming for some time.

I know I just wanted to make it seem e/erie (pun intended) LOL!
We all know that it is smaller than MF, but Six Flags has put up a very well done video of Goliath on their site. The QT version is 6.4 MB. I didn't try the Real version.

Wow after looking at the POV all I can say is wow!! IT JUST GAVE ME CHILLS!! That would be great for a comercial on TV! By the way, were any of the people in the promo, head honchos or not? I dont know anything about them, so I was just wondering!

Ride it hard, long, and furious!
They will probably use an edited version of the POV to fit into a thirty second commercial time slot. As of right now the POV is too long for TV advertising.

TV spots will have real POV or at least real shots of the ride. I wouldn't be surprised if they started testing in March or April, which will leave time for TV spots.
