Millennium Force Film Shoot 9/2

I saw on the Cedar Point blog, they are looking for a Millennium Force "film" shoot on Friday 9/2. Since I have a rare Friday off, and was planning on heading to the park in the morning anyway, I signed up. I was one of the chosen to participate.

Anyone else attending?

We had about 50 people there this morning. The talent and the people chosen to be camera worthy were put onto the first train. They gout about 4 rides, the rest of us, myself included, got one ride on the non-camera train and were cheering in the queue as the camera train departed. They appeared to be shooting with a 360 camera. Though it was a type I had never seen before. It was similar to this. We won't know until next year (probably summer) what the shoot was for.

If it makes you feel any better, Jason Hammond, I've always considered you to be very attractive.

I was one of the chosen to ride. During the third run, just before the tunnel, the camera broke free from the mount. A rider in the front row held onto it until we got back to the station. They remounted it and we did another run.

I was there as well, but not one of the pretty ones that sat in the front, I sat in row 14 of the filmed train. It was a fun experience and I got to talk with some nice coaster fans. Later on after lunch when I was about to head home, I decided to take a walk on the beach after a ride on WT and I saw a tall ship on the lake that looked like it was passing by. It then turned abruptly and looked like it was heading into the harbor. I Googled tall ships and Sandusky, Ohio 2016 and found an article describing the Festival of Sail that was being held this weekend at Jackson Street Pier. I quickly walked down to the dock at Lighthouse Point and watched it roll by. It was the US Brig Niagara replica, pretty cool way to top off a good day!

I was behind you in row 15.

Hey t2, I'm sorry we never got to say hello, or did we? I was the short guy in his early 50's with the red plaid shirt and shorts. My partner was a woman with pretty red hair and I already forgot her name. It was fun to be a part of this. It was nice riding with you!

Paul

No worries, you were just prettier than I.
