Millenium Force Restraints on the Magnum, Mean Str

I had a dream the other night that the Magnum, Mean Streak, Blue Streak and Gemini all got new trains built by Intamin with the same restraints as the Millenium Force/Xcelerator!!! The only time I ever have a bad experience on any of these rides is when my thighs have been crushed by the "Agony of the Bar." How difficult (and costly) would it be to replace those old-time restraints with the technology of today? This might actually increase ridership on some of these other rides relieving the new Intamin's. Just a dream, I guess..
It's not as much about the changing times as it is about the differing manufacturers. For example, Magnum is built by Arrow and needs Arrow trains (specifically Arrow mine trains). Intamin trains would not work with Magnum because of several reasons (wheel setup, specs, etc), and Intamin restraints would really only work with Intamin trains.

I for one prefer Magnum's lap bar over those ineffective Intamins, but to each his own. The only thing I can think of to help improve Magnum's bars is if they somehow switched from ratcheting to hydraulic with infinite positions (like MF). Some Arrow loopers have hydraulics so I wonder how easy or hard to would be to use that same technology and just apply it to the Arrow lap bar.

Also as for the wood coasters I think there is nothing wrong with Blue Streaks current one's which were replaced last year (of course they still are a step down form the single position locking ones). If Mean Streak would receive the same new PTC bars we would be set. Things that can be done to improve those two I think are to get rid of the headrest and that hard as a rock padding.

Also getting rid of the seatbelt on those would help too and replace them with the simple auto buckle ala Magnum.

I like Blue Streak's restraints because it's impossible to staple me! When the lapbar is down as far as it can go I still have enough room to breathe.

Found that out on a mini-Blue Streak marathon I did last season. (50 laps)

Also I like Millennium Force's restraints as well. Arrow ones aren't fun though.
