I live about 40 minutes away from Kennywood and as most of you know this will be the last year for the Steel Phantom. The new speculation is that there next coaster will shatter all previous records in height and speed. But... I also heard on the news if Kennywood wanted to build a coaster that was as big as Millenium Force that the lift hill would have to strecth the entire park. Guess we will have to wait and see.
They had to cut through an existing coaster to make a second hill for the phantom,I highly doubt they will build bigger than MF. THey don't have the $$$ laying around like Cedar Fair to do it.
You might be surprised at what they can do with the terrain at Kennywood. If they position the lift hill at the right place, they too could have a 300+ foot drop. I don't think, however, that the money is an issue. They would not have made this drastic of a decision without having an agenda.
This discussion should really be taken over to coasterbuzz.com

One guy said he saw the plans for Kennywood 2001 and he said he would email to people. So I asked them to email to me and he gave me some excuse about how the plans don't fit in the scanner. YEAH RIGHT.
Yeah, please take it to CoasterBuzz... it could use the traffic.
We're all aware that MF's height record will be short-lived. It doesn't mean we'll be riding it any less.
