been going to Cedar Point for the past few weekends, and noticed that we have had a hard time getting on the ride, is seems to have broken down a bit more then usual? Anyone have any ideas?
well.. let me re-ask the question
does anyone know what the mechanical problems have been, not just the maker being the issue.
I don't know exactly what the problem is Eaton, but I do suggest that you go and try some of the other rides that Cedar Point has to offer. That said, you are more then welcome to stay in line and wait it out if you choose. If you do leave the line, however, you lose your spot.

I was there on the 20th and it was closed half the day but that was due to a lightning strike that morning. Besides that its been running fine when I'm there.
Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!
yea, it was closed most of the morning Yesterday (Sunday) but we rode most of the other rides , did our Wood Coster Motif (had the headache to prove it!) and Soak City. ended up riding most of the other rides , headed back after the MS, and it was open at 8ish when we got there, seemed to be like I remember it. just wondering since the last 3 weeks we went it has been closed for a good part of the day's.
more of a curiosity, I know there are many other rides, and we don't go just for that one, but in passing it has been down.
Sunday morning I went to catch a first ride on Millenium. It broke down as I was next to board the train. It took about 45 minutes to repair. It seems there was a problem with the catch car engaging the train.
Out of curiosity, have they actually been running Millennium consistently for early entry? Or has it been slow to open like last season?

It runs pretty consistently for early entry on warm summer days.
The cool fall mornings of Halloweekends are a different story entirely. I don't even bother running there anymore, especially now that TTD has been open for EE.
MF was down quite a bit today, some because of rain, but even with reduced train operation there were apparently still some mechanical problems.
Can't believe I haven't seen that. Now you can get on all 3 of the popular Inties before the park opens. No need for Fast Lane if you're Platinum. :)
^ I like that last sentence. And yes, I can confirm that TTD is unofficially announced as an early entry ride, but operates every morning starting at 9.
I was there yesterday and during the ERT they had other rides up and running that were not on the ERT list. Top Thrill Dragster, Mantis and I think Power Tower? While riding Iron Dragon I could see Millennium was testing, this was around 10:30am. After Iron Dragon headed over to Top Thrill Dragster and waited 35 minutes.

Oh Okay, I was there on the 19th-20th too, and I was wondering what was up with MF.
