Military horse

I have heard the story about the haunted horse on the old carousel many times. I am also aware that there is a replica of the horse in the carousel museaum and the real horse is in town hall. However when i was browsing through virtual midway i found a picture of the sandcastle suites kid area, and in the kids area next to the TV is the military horse.

does anybody know more about this horse. My guess is that its a replica, but why it is in the sand castle suite i dont know. Anybody who knows more please let me know.

i don't know too much about it, but i found it a little unfortunate that they took that bit out of fright zone this year. just to clear up any doubt i have did they remove it because of them extending fright zone to the bridge?

How was the horse involved in Fright Zone? (This was the first year I got to go to Halloweekends...)

Last year they had the horse down by where the pet farm is at and they had three different tales talking about how and why people think it's haunted. Then they had the horse sitting at the bottom of the hill with the projection of a lady sitting on it. It was interesting.

Also the skull/end of the Fright Zone was located further down the trail.. (when I say 'further' I mean more towards Millennium Force')

CF Paul, I don't think that is the Military Horse in the Sandcastle...it's been there fore years and is smaller than the one in Town Hall. I believe it's just another carousel horse.

I really dont think it is smaller than the one in town hall, i think it is just that it's beside a plain blank wall. the background at town hall is busier and more things around it making it look smaller. I saw the horse every day summer 2002, and this one looks identical. I knwo the park made a copy of the horse, maybe they made two?? or maybe they just moved it to the childrens area for the picture???
