Midway Over the Lagoon?

I was just looking at the drawing of Top Thrill Dragster...I noticed on the side of the brake run, There is a path leading towards the ID. Check it out...

It would be amazing to be able to cut across the lagoon, And not have to walk around.

I don't see it. Where on the brake run?
I see what you are referring too but I don't think it goes anywhere. Maybe it is just there so people can observe the drop side of the tower.
This path has been there always, it was a service/employee area. It used to lead to a small break area behind Troika and then the path lead on to the Frontier Trail side of the midway. Used a lot by employees who needed to quickly get from one side to the other. It would be interesting if they opened that up to guests.

Could this just be the relocation of the boat ride dock.. Just a thought.

Just the track, the wind, and the speed.
I don't think thats what it is. I don't know if I would like the lagoon crossover walkway. It depends on how CP does it. Something like a boardwalk(I think thats what it is called) might work. On another note I for one am sad that part of the lagoon is filled in. I thought maybe part of the brake run would be over water. Similar to Mantis. I guess it doesn't go with the theme. I do however wat to know if CP, has to replace part of the lagoon elsewhere.

Yes, that's one of the employee break areas. I doubt they'll open that up just because it'll take one of our break areas away and it goes right underneath Iron Dragon. Besides, there's really no point for the guests to use it. It's a very quick way to get from one side of the park to the other, though. I can get from MF to Power Tower in like 5 minutes walking at a comfortable pace using it.
