Midway music is still a little broken

Heh, I almost wrote the exact same thing in my post. I kept switching off plugging one ear or the other, and although I wasn't terribly close to the stage, I'm sure they could see me, and I felt bad. In my email to the park I said "your performers deserve better." Honestly I'd like to see the show again if they address this, because it was a good selection of songs with talented people.

I'd love to know why they went with horns on corkscrew, we did have speakers..

I'm glad to hear that we weren't the only ones to notice that the sound mix at Bandstand USA was really off. I also kind of assumed it was just me but hopefully Live E will adjust things a bit having heard some feedback from guests. I really do want to enjoy the show but the sound mix as it stands now is rough going, particularly in a space that small.

If it hurts adult ears you can imagine how much it would a child's. I remember my youngest covering his ears at the theater show last year.

exit english is right on point with environmental music, in the background to enhance, not overwhelm and overcome.

It's this and many other things that appear as chinks in Jason McClure's shining armor. I like the guy and have talked with him, but things like this and the poop all over Soak City are things we shouldn't even be talking about once, let alone many weeks into the season.

How is it that management is not aware of these things? Do they not walk around the park with their eyes and ears open? I suppose another option is that they are noticing, but it's not important enough for them to fix.

I agree that the volume and some of the speakers still needs work. I'm just glad they finally replaced that god awful ear piercing horn between TTD and Magnum. That was the absolute worst. I too noticed the brand new speakers sitting unused next to the horns on Sky ride, I can only imagine they just haven't switched them over yet. If they continue to remove the horns, and then the few blown and terribly distorted rock speakers that are still around, I'd be happy.

I've wondered the same thing. In theory they are in the park more than any of us so they should be particularly attuned to what is going right or wrong. I'd imagine it comes down to a matter of priorities and the resources available.

That's my biggest issue - in some places the music seems loud enough to be damaging.

Although this is different from music, I was inside Bubbles swim up bar last year, and we were relaxing on one of the chairs outside of the pool. We happened to have our seats right in front of a speaker, and we were enjoying the music until the weather alert came over and scared the crap out of us. My ear was ringing for almost a half hour.
