I hate to make a new thread for such a simple question but...
I'm trying to make some decisions for an upcoming visit. Can anyone tell me what the lunch and dinner pricing is for the Midway Market?
I'm debating on whether to buy an all-day dining plan (and pay the $2 upcharge for the market) or whether I should just pay for a meal at the market and buy a few snacks throughout the day.
I can't remember. Fourteen bucks, maybe? Sixteen? Twelve?
Anyway, it costs me eight with my season plan, and whenever I eat there I go early in the day. (I'm not a big breakfast person so by the time they open I'm ready to eat. Tip: the food is better too, at least it's not so pawed through if you hit it early) After that I'm usually full enough that I don't need the second meal I'm entitled to. Last time I ate at Pinks late in the day and I was stuffed, and didn't really want it.
So unless you're a REALLY big eater I'd probably skip the daily meal plan and go with full price MM, really chow down, then get some snacky stuff later. Fries. It would save you money I think.
And y'all can go ahead and tell me I'm not really getting the most out of my season meal plan. I know that. I do better at Kings Island.
Thanks for the reply! I agree... I'd be better off paying full price for MM and just snacking throughout the day. The Coca-Cola marketplace has grapes and fresh fruit. :)
I called the park office this morning and they said it's $15 for the buffet.
Not sure about this year, but in past years, it has varied a bit from like 13 or 14 up to 18 or 19 depending on the time of day (lunch or dinner) and the crowd level in the park.

I have the season meal plan and did the upgrade to the buffet last week when I was there. I was really disappointed except for the desserts, but now that I've read this thread it was probably because we went at about 7:10p and the park closed at 8p. We had thought to get towards the front of the park as we were there for ERT on Raptor that night so next time I know, try the buffet during the day!

But what the heck, it's under $8

No, but you could just wait until you are done in the park for the day and then eat on the way home like I usually do. Usually I just get a pretzel at Auntie Anne's or a funnel cake at Toot Sweets to hold me over until then.
