Midway Market Meal Deal Online

I saw that it's $10.65 per person if you buy online for the Midway Market Buffet and it includes a 32oz. souvenior cup. We have eaten there several times, however, last summer, it was just....yuck. With CP focusing on better food quality, has anyone noticed that the Buffet has improved any? I appreciate your comments. :)

I had lunch there opening week, and found all of the dishes I sampled to be superior than what was offered last year. For what it's worth.

Ate there today, and the food was really good! You also don't have to buy that deal online, you can get it at the ticket booth at the front of the park...

Thanks for the tip, Supersonic!

Is the gate price for the meal deal $10.65? Also can anyone tell me the regular buffet price? What about the regular price of the refillable mug? Can the meal deal be used anywhere besides the buffet?

You can buy them at guest services for 10.65 each without any processing fee's. Regular price is around $14.00 for lunch and I believe it's more for dinner. The refillable souvenir cup alone is 7-8.00. The coupons are good at some other spots in the park but not everywhere. I think Midway Market is the best deal. You won't go wrong buying them.

It was delicious the 4 times I have been there this year. You also don;t have to buy the meal deal online. You can get it at the fast lane booth right when you walk into the park.

Thanks so much for the responses. Does anyone know if you can get your mug before you get the rest of your meal if save the meal for later in the day but want the refillable mug for the morning?

Goofy refillable mug question ... what do you do with it all day? Pay for lockers to keep it in? It's been too long since I rode big rides at the Point. Back in the day, people lugged all sorts of crap on rides, but drinks weren't allowed. People usually left drinks on tops of trash cans or on a bench while they rode a ride. Now it seems there are bins and lockers. This Midway Market deal sounds good, the price is great, the refillable mug sounds good in theory, until I thought about what to do with it while we ride. We won't have anything else that won't fit in our pockets.

When I have left mine in the open, they have disapeared. Whether it's because someone took it or a sweep threw it away. Now, if I have one with me and I want to ride Milli or Dragster, I find an out of the way place to hide it.

The only rides I can think of that you can't take the mug with you and leave it in a bin is Millennium or Dragster. I believe every other ride there has a bin that you are able to put it in.

Thank you Jason and SSL, that is what I needed to know. We're going to be buying FastLane passes. Assuming we do this meal deal (will present the idea to DH, would probably just buy it ahead of time with our FL passes and park tickets online), if we do MF and Dragster in the morning before we have lunch at Midway Market, it will be easy sailing. If we ride after, I'm ok renting a locker for the "2 hours", I just didn't want to be doing that all day long, kwim?

This is a really good deal! I wish I had known you could purchase these vouchers at the gate this past Thursday.

Has anyone done this deal? $10.65 for Midway Market and a refillable cup?!?

We did the deal on Wednesday. The food at the Midway Market was good. Gimme pasta and sauce, good fried chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy and I'm sold. We bought our deal at one of the ticket booths at the Main Entrance that afternoon and had dinner there. You still have to go through the line at the MM cuz they need to give you the refillable cups before getting seated. We didn't use our cups in the park, we're cheap, we bring pop in a cooler and tailgate in the parking lot when we are sick of free ice waters and need a snack or two from the car. I think it's a good deal though, and we plan on eating there again during our Sept and Oct visits.

MM has a small salad bar, one kind of soup, make your own taco/nachos bar, pasta, white and red sauce, meatballs, several kinds of pizzas, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, fried chicken, mini corn on the cobb, mixed vegetables, hamburgers and a hamburger topping bar. Assorted desserts and ice cream with toppings.

Do they still offer the dinner buffet menu?

When you visit CP, visit my Mill, est. 1835

I hope not, last time I made the mistake of going there during their dinner menu I swore I would never do it again.

Granted this was about 3 years ago, so it may have changed by then.

My gf and I went on sunday and bought the deal, it saved us almost 18 dollars
