A few years back I used to go there every visit to the point. 12$ all you can eat=good deal at the park. It was busy whenever I went.
On one of my visits a few weeks ago I noticed that the price has increased to 15$, I still believed this was a good place to eat. I went in with a few of my friends and ate. The food seems to be well not as good. Also I noticed the place was basically empty compared to how I remembered.
Correct me if I am wrong but were they not lowering prices of food? I think the price increase may be why it was so empty in there. I personally was shocked by how empty it was considering when I went before I waited 10 or so minutes for a table.
When was this price increased?
I am pretty sure the price was $13.95 last year. I eat there often and with Joe Cool you get a dollar off the price still not too horrible for a buffet especially at CP.
I think the price changes throughout the season, or time of day. I know in one season I've seen it have mutliple prices.

Vanessa is correct.
We ate there a few weeks ago and it was $12.95.

Ride on, MrScott!
I think the prices change throughout the day, but I'm not 100% sure.
To me, it's the best place to eat in the park if you want quick service and your pick of whatever you want to eat. The Joe Cool discount is a plus!

THe price does change during the day. They have a lower price for lunch and then raise it for dinner.

Yes, lunch is $10.95, I believe, maybe $11.95, and dinner is $14.95. That's down one dollar from last year when dinner was $15.95.

^No it's not; It's based on the meal. The burger meal (lunch) has the lower price, and the dinner (roast beef) has the higher price. It's not "whatever they feel like."

I think if you eat alot that place is the best deal in the park. When I go we always have dinner there.

101 on Magnum and counting...
I like going there if I bring enough money with me, thats always my choice. Also when do they serve the lunch/dinner I personally would prefer burgers lol.
The switch from lunch to dinner is typically between 3 and 4 o'clock.

I thought the switch took place at 3pm, and you needed to be there by 2:45-2:50 to be able to pay the lunch price and eat dinner.
Maybe that switch time is also "seasonal?" I'm pretty sure it was that way early in the year, but we haven't eaten there since.
Hey, I heard a rumor that Top Thrill Dragster is sinking...
It doesn't matter what they're serving... anything over $12 is too much in my opinion.

It's somwhere between 3 and 4... I have been there at 3:00 and they still had the lunch menu, so I don't know that it's a perfect change over.

My family ate there on fathers day. There are six of us and the cost was 80 bucks. Now I know some people think that is way to much, but I feel that is a fine price to pay at an amusement / resort. I look at it this way, they serve for dinner carved Roast beast(I fancy the Roast) Salad, Mini-corn dogs Ect...
I figure that it is a more well rounded dinner for the family, rather than cramming stand food. Plus you can sit down in air conditioning, there is a well rounded desert bar / with good ice cream. the mixture of foods is good. I also do not have to go to the car, possibly lose my spot, and waste gas money & time driving into town to find a place where you can make all of the kids/ wife happy. They have descent service, at least everytime I have been there. They have really good cold tea, and chicken nuggets ( wifes .02 )
It all comes down to eating a big meal or having smaller meals and snacks later. If you get a typical burger/chicken sandwich/hotdogonastick/etc... smaller meal and then munch later on pretzel/nachos/cheeseonastick/etc... and then get an ice cream or funnel cake with a soda or two or more throughout the day, you are paying the same per person as if you ate the one big meal including drink and dessert. I've only eaten once at Midway Market, but felt that it was a decent value for a big meal. But for most days at an amusement park I want smaller meals/snacks just so I don't feel weighed down by a large meal and want to go take a nap on the beach or at Soak City;)
