I know its probably often overlooked despite its location but I have to give the park props for cleaning up the Midway Carousel. I didn't get to see it at nighttime but everything looks very well done. The brass poles look brand new as well as the horses. The "growl" is gone as the carousel rotates and everything looked very cleaned up I'm sure some offseason maintenance is done every year but it looks like the carousel had a major overhaul done.
Anyone else notice this?

I believe it was mentioned in a blog post quite a while ago that the brass gets polished every year.

Every horse was striped and repainted this past offseason, they look very good on the carousel.
It is true! The Midway Carrousel had a Major Overhaul this past off season. New Paind, New Poles, ALL new lights.... It's practically new.

You mean they all look like zebras now? :)
(I didn't look close, but from a distance it *did* look good...)
