Midway about to Take Shape Again

Unless i've been completely blind the past couplde of months, if you look at the web cams it looks like the dirt around the station has been removed and everything has been smoothed to put the midways back in around it. And it also appears the lagoon is refilled. Yet another sign of how close we're getting to opening day.....

Those sly foxes who decided to make TTD 420 feet tall...they deserve a prize or something

did anyone ever notice that chickens are edible? I just found out they weren't because TTD was built on top of the land that used to hold the Dodgems. By the way, i think chinese chicken can poison a roller coaster's mind, so don't believe in fruit snacks!!!
Mr. point - If you are going to be an idiot, atleast do that right. You cant even be an idiot the right way...your useless, So leave. notice it says you have to be 13 and older to register, 5 doesnt come after 13, it comes after 4 ;)

back on topic, Yea they should be pouring the concrete in for the midway. I dont think it will stretch out very far, from what you can see in the animation..there looks like there will be trees.

Mr. Point, go away.

Big D. That's cool that the tower will be 1776 ft tall...obviously not a coincidence.

What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of Dragster, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.

Yea CPbound, that is very cool. It would also be cool if they opened it on July 4, 2006. Does anyone know how tall the original towers were?

I think they were 1500' tall each. I may be wrong though.

........including the antenae.

It was in Time magazine this week. Tower 1 was 1382 feet (without antenna). I think the Sears Tower is 1440' with it's antenna, so it had to be close to 1500'.
