Midsized Woodie instead of Disaster Transport

I know this prabebly won't happen, but i was thinking that if CP took out Disaster Transport, they would have room for an out and back woodie. The ride could start where DT is and could extend out into the parking lot. It wouldn't take up too much space in the parking lot and it would certainly be better than DT. I was thinking a similar layout as The Villian.

i am all for leveling the transport. my little girl always drags me on that thing. i would guess it's technically possible to put a wood coaster on that spot and i would love to see the majority of the structure placed out in the lake. it will never happen because it's insane and it would make the environmental wackos dirty their shorts. the japanese can build an airport in the sea, why not a coaster in the lake?

It will never happen because DT is one of like 5 bobsled coasters in the world and is still a pretty decent ride. I don't see CP removing any coasters anytime soon and not because they'd lose the "most coasters" record. They won't remove them because each one serves its purpose in some way. DT isn't the tallest, fastest or greatest ride, but if you saw the line at 3pm in July you'd swear there was a 500' coaster in the warehouse.

I would really like to see the theming brought back to what it was in the early 90's with the robots and such. And maybe even take off some of the tunnel coverings so that you get thrown into day-light and back into darkness, it could add a cool effect to it.

Well they definetally couldn't put it out in the lake because the water gets to cold in the winter, but i would extend into the parking lot. Yes Jugga you are right, they will never remove it, but i just think it would be great. CP is really lacking a great woodie. I also think it would go well if they ever decide to do the boardwalk project.
