I was messing around with numbers and figured out that MF is going to go 135 ft. per second when it is going 92 mph. NOW THAT'S FAST!!!
I wonder if the speed will even seem that much different. Numbers are just numbers. The feeling of speed relies on way more than just numbers. The surroundings and layout play a big part. Raptor only hits like 50 or 55 but it seems like you're going so much faster because you're always flipping and turning. We'll have to wait til May to see if speed is it's strong point.
yes, speed is definetly relative...case in point: i once drove a 1964 Buick LeSabre with a 355 Wildcat V-8 engine. one mean machine. my brother-in-law has a 1969 Firebird Convertible with a V-6. much smaller, but still fast. he challenged me to a grudge-match drag race. i did a 16 second 1/4 mile (about 120mph) and it really felt like i was going about a million miles per hour. needless to say, my car died soon after. but now when i ride with my bro-in-law, and HE does 120, it feels even faster, because his car is open, and my Buick was not. so i am inclined to think that MF may feel a lot faster than 92 mph because of the train design, the trees rushing past, etc....

"I think I scrambled my brain!!"
The 300ft, 80 degree drop will help too! LOL.
