MF Seat Sizes-Will I fit?

Hi everyone! I was at Six Flags-Great America this weekend and apparently I've gained some weight since last year and was refused ride on the Raging Bull. That got me thinking about my upcoming trip to CP and if I would be able to ride MF. Anybody have size restrictions for the ride or have any idea how big is too big? As you can imagine I was mortified and humiliated to be ejected, especially since I was able to ride every other coaster at 6F jsut fine.....also, do any of the coasters at CP have "test seats" at the beginning of the queue lines? Thank you for your time.

Raptor and WT have test seats. I don't recall a test seat for MF, but I could be wrong.

My husband, at 6'4", 260 lbs (44 inch waist, 47 inch chest) is able to ride everything except WT at CP. At SFGAm, he could not ride Deja Vu, V2, and BARELY fit into Batman. But he fit into Raging Bull with no problem.

You'll have to take your waist size into consideration for MF as the seats and lap restraints will be more difficult for someone with a large bottom and waist. I've seen some pretty large people fit.

Yes, Millennium Force has a test seat.

Thanks for the replies...unfortunately my backside is my trouble spot so I guess I will crash diet for the next month....

By the looks of the test seat, the MF looks more spacious than the seats on the Raging Bull which feature "cupped" like seats...I guess I'll see when I get there.

The seats on the Millie are not the problem, the problem is the lap belt which is quite short. I would venture to say that it is the smallest seat in the park (excluding Shoulder Harness rides). At 245 lbs and 6' 1" I have about 3 inches of slack in the belt, but if you are much larger you might have a problem. I wouldn't advise a crash diet per se, but if you think you might have a problem now is a good time to slim up a bit. :)
I'm 6'4" and currently 280 lbs, and the lap belt is ABSOLUTLY too short for that ride as I had no problems with the bar, but had one heck of a time getting the belt clasped.

Also, I don't know if this is an intentional thing or just poor assistance by a ride op, but I tried the WT test seat and couldn't quite get the thing to close, but the next day, i just decided to try getting on the ride anyway, and it wasn't a big deal on the ride. I actually didn't even need any help getting the belt clasped.

Although... I would have been fine with a little pain and discomfort for a ride on the worlds best coasters! :)

What I found odd is the belts on Superman: Ride of Steel at SFNE are huge, at least 6 inches more slack than on MF. They also don't have the loop at the end. Granted tthat ride had a 54" requirement I believe, but I don't remember having that much slack in 2000 when MF had the 54" height requirement.

What was even more weird is all 3 Intamin hypers I have been on have the same trains supposedly, yet the seating on all 3 was different. On the SFNE model (in the back of the cars) the bar which the restraints pivots on is above the floor, so there is zero legroom on in those seats. On the SFDL model the seating was more upright compared to the others.

I have a smaller waist and larger hips and backside, which i think was the main problem on the Raging Bull at SF:Great Am, the seats are like bowls...it was my first ride of the day and I was so humiliated that i thought about leaving. I didn't and eventually rode the rest of the rides just fine but I cringed on the Vertical Velocity because it took an extra push to get the belt locked. Luckily, the gent who buckled me in was nice about it, unlike the boys at the Raging Bull....
...in any case I'm 5'6" and at least 205-maybe even 210 and i need to trim up anyway so i guess coaster riding is as good of reason as any (then there's my heart and health etc etc.).
In any case I'll try not to let my weight rule my CP trip! Thanks for the replies!

Personally i think the Millie's belts are shorter this year than they were last year. Is it just me or does it seem like they have been sewn up a bit at the end so there is less slack? In any case, I fit in every other ride just fine but that one always worries me a bit.

About the WT seats...I believe someone said that the seats on WT are all different sizes for some strange reason, and that the test seat out front is the smallest version of the seat, so if you fit in the test seat you will fit in any of the seats on WT, but if you don't quite make it in there's still a chance you could ride it on a larger seat. I have also found that the ride ops at Cedar Point aren't big fans of "helping" larger people get in rides. Some of them have no problem, but others simply won't give the harness an extra push for a friend or what have you. I find it aplorable that CP doesn't cater to larger people, and I hope it is something they rectify soon.

210? You should be just fine then...the only problems I've seen people have is on WT. They either have larger chests or large thighs because the harnesses really aren't positioned for optimum rideability.
