MF park cam

why is there smoke by the second and third hill?

Since it's raining, it could be fog.

Haha - this thread reminds me of people who come up to you after a ride on Magnum and nervously tell you that there's "smoke in that tunnel over there" (third tunnel)!  One dude even told me that Magnum "must be burning some oil because it smells smokey in the tunnel!" 

My response to these people most often depended on my mood! :)

Did you tell them Magnum just went over 3000 miles so it needs an oil change?

I do admit, while the smoke is cool it just give's me a headache after a while.

I looked, that is definitely fog forming over the lagoons. Must be getting chili there!

Might the fog be simply to do with the fog machines they have along the trail for Halloweekends?

Well, the picture there was fog all over the lagoons but there are fog machines now in place by the tunnels. They are awesome! Also Millennium Islands lights were turned off so it was dark as heck. Add the fog and its a new ride almost. I think MF night rides may be better than Magnum night rides with effects like those

Yes, that fog is awesome! I loved how they turned off the lights on the island. The fog all over Cedar Point is awesome. The fog in the queue line is awesome! When the fog crank up the fog you can't see the queue from the enterence. Riding it and coming through the fog is sweet! Oh, and they have skeletens oll over the tunnel!

Hell yeah! We've been saying for a while to shut the island lights off so you feel like you're flying in the dark...Like S:ROS at Darien Lake. Sweet! And I'm going to get to ride it like this...Booya!

The fog machines at the park are insane. I thought they went nuts last year, but this year it's nothing short of amazing. You can't see jack on the trail in places.

Yes, that Fright Zone is amazing! They really used those fog machines! The one in the Millennium queue is sweet. Except when it's running you can't see jack from enterence when your looking at the queue.:)

Best part of the trail.. if you're approaching the park at say.. 7pm like Anne and I were on Friday.. The fog is so intense it almost looked like the trail was on fire...

Very weird effect.. but loved every min of it.. Just watch out for the mad feather tickler.. Right Anne??? :)
