OK, I'm coming in from Chicago and making a stop at the Point on Mom's day....Happy Mother's Day, Mom...we're going to CP!
Anyway, anybody have any clue as to whether the MF merchandise is any good? Specifically thinking about adult polos and/or sweatshirts.
The small stand that last year took care of hotel reservations (located between the ticket booths and the main entrance turnstiles) has now become a last-minute shop with film and souvenirs had some neat MF t-shirts and key rings. The other shop that had a lot of MF clothing was the large gift shop located near the entrance to the park right past the Midway Carousel. They had the embroidered golf shirts and some neat looking sweatshirts with the MF logo on it.

I'm wearing the polo today at work (a good value at $22.50). The sweatshirts are OK, and there are three T-shirts that I've seen so far. The beer mugs and shot glasses are very very cool.

$22.50 for a polo? Here's hoping for a double-X to be available...

Coming soon to an amusement park near you.
I looked for the polo shirts at Park Place (the store I believe Kay is talking about) on Sunday around 6:30 and failed to find any (I was hoping to wear it to work today to convince my staff that I'm certifiably insane)! But I'll be back there within a few weeks and will hit the Radisson gift shop before getting to CP and buy it there if I can. Also next trip, I plan on purchasing a key ring (but not the one with those little sliding tiles--the only one I saw yesterday, since I wasn't really looking at key rings).
My MF merchandise purchase yesterday: large frosty mugs--the ones you stick in your freezer that help keep your drink cold without ice. MUCH better than my first Magnum souvenir purchase: a key ring with a little (4 ft?) tape measure built into it.

John,
The shirts were not in a very visible spot. They were tucked away on a rack and not easy to find. I looked all over the store before I located them. One would have thought they'd have been out in a more accessible location.
