MF Lights

Now that we're only a couple days away from opening day, I'm wondering why they haven't been using the lights for MF. Looking at the webcam, there are all sorts of lights on, but none on the lift hill. I have been to CP several times in the past two years and the lights have never been on. Sorry if I'm rehashing an old thread, but do they use the lights often? Just from pictures I've seen, I think they look really cool.

They always have the lights on the towers at night. They alternate from fading into different colors on all the towers, separate colors on different towers, and strobes on the towers...what days did you go? This is the first time I've heard them not being on. Are you sure they just weren't very bright the days you went?

They are on, the Power Tower webcam is just bad at picking up things in the dark. I remember looking forward to seeing MF at night from the webcam but it is very hard to make out. The lights that you can see are all much closer to the actual cam, making them easier to pick up.

I went twice in 2000, and twice last year. I guess I must have left before they came on, either that or before it got dark enough to see them, because I always remember being disappointed that I didn't get to see the MF lights.

Well if you're working on Gemini this year, I'm sure you'll see the lights on MF plenty of times. They were on every night that I looked last season. MF's lights are definitely cool! On the webcam, I can tell the lights on the island are on, but it is impossible to tell if the lifthill lights are on.
