That stinks! I don't want little 3rd grades in the lines! They are always loud and obnoxious...but many of my fellow teenagers are quite the same. I hope it doesn't add time to waits.
I doubt little 3rd graders will be in the lines. I think they will be too scared to ride. But yet, I could be wrong...

My cousin is a 3rd grader. She is dying to ride.

A bad day at CP is better than a good day at work.
Heck, when I was in 2nd grade, I wanted to go on Magnum and Mean Streak, but was too short. I'm sure there will be some local kiddies that will be pretty happy with CP's decision.
I'd say you're wrong ;)
My first "big" coaster was 2nd grade: Steel Phantom at Kennywood. I'm not saying I wasn't scared, but I did ride it. (Note: I was always big for my age, so I guess not all of my friends at the time would have been able to ride to begin with.)

How dare you vanquish the Steel Phantom without his consent? Fear the Phantom's Revenge.
My daughter is only 5 and guess what she's riding next year... MUUUHAHAHAHA
She wanted to ride it this year but she was too short, now granted, she gets her heights from her father so next year is gonna be her big caoster year hopefully... no more Woodstock Express

Since winter is here, I am officially "PeTA Lady"

Geniuses... they updated the top half of the page (that is linked to above) but near the bottom, it still says "you must abe at least 54 inches tall..."
They can engineer, build, and mantain rides, but cah they mantain webpages?

The line is long enough as it is, why make it even longer. O yea I guess there is always TTR to keep the line down.
There is too many people in line as it is. Us older teens should get to enjoy the rowdiness of the crowd during the DJ music without little kids covering their ears. Ya gots ta learn ta partay!!!To be an MF rider!!!!
poor kids will still have to grow to ride raptor though, hehe

Did anyone notice that nearly every mention of this change had been removed from the official site?

Millennium Force laps: 50
Not quite...
Mentions of the change have been removed, yes...but the change still stands. It reminds me of the coverage on the CP site when Striker died: all references to him were eliminated so that so far as the web site was concerned, they had always had only three dolphins.
(Speaking of dolphins, Jeff, did you see the robotic dolphin in the smaller hall at IAAPA?)
I just took a look at the official site, and the lengthy explanation of why they changed Millennium Force from 54" to 48" is gone, but the page still says "riders must be at least 48" tall". As though that has always been the case, even though anybody who had a 53" kid at the Po!nt this summer knows otherwise.
--Dave Althoff, Jr., who is not at all surprised at this development...
I had one of my neices ask me if I would take her on MF this summer, she is to short, so hopfuly next year, I can't wait.
I'm very proud, I'm bringing her up right. She like U of M, CP, the Red Wings.

If she weighs as much as a duck, she's made of wood, and therefore a witch.
