MF Can Go Upside-Down

Ok I would say that anything over 135 is quite possibly upside-down, but not anyhting less. I think Mantis's inclined loop is past 135 degrees. If thats the case Raging Bull goes upside down too. I agree with you CABEWNCP.
Technically a turn cannot be upside down at all. As there is no upper most part. The Millennium Force Train is even throughout the hole turn. Therefor leading me to believe (by definition) that the "turn" would have to be over 180 deg. to be an inversion.

And you guys thought you had to much free time.

kmlaser4, CP stated that it is the steepest non-inverted turn at 122 degrees, because the line isn't drawn at 122, but 122.3245-okay I don't know about the decimal I put in, but it's more than 122, so technically CP is stating the truth.
Raging Bull doesn't have any turns over 90 degrees that I know of. Anyway, this is a really silly thread. At what degree is an object considered inverted? By the definition of inverted, it would have to be exactly the opposite of its original position, therefore 180 degrees. This also would make Mantis' angled loop inverted, because it is 180 degrees off of its starting position going into the element. However, this is another one of those subjective topics, like answering "what's the best ride?" Maybe someone has technical definitions they would like to share to clear this up, but until then we will go around in circles forever. *** This post was edited by Camel on 7/28/2000. ***
If you really want to go "upside down", do what I do every now and then, tilt your head to the side on the 122 degree banked turns, then it really seems you are upside down! ;)
Here's a suggestion to settle this debate. Why don't you ask Walter and Claude what they consider to be an inversion? I would accept their opinion to be as good as gold.

The inclined loop on the Mantis is at a 45 degree angle.

Mantis How Much Can You Stand?
Ok what I think is that it is not a loop. I classify a loop as going past vertical or 180 degrees from the ground. All of loops go past this point. If they don't then they are considered banked. So if it doesn't go completly upside down then I don't consider it. I mean if you say some of the turns are considered flips then some ride which have banked turns can be considered flips. This is why a cobra roll is considered 2 flips because it goes to 180 degrees 2 times. For them to judge and tell weither anything has a loop or flip on it should and I think is done this way. All other ways would just be to confusing.
You all are taking this WAAAAAAAY too seriously!

Matt, if the inclined loop is 45 degrees, then you are actually saying that it's banked at 135...

Let me know when Warner, Walter, Ronny, or Claude calls...

Here it is straight outta the DICTIONARY
UPSIDE-DOWN: 1.with the top side or PART underneath or turned over; inverted 2.indisorder or confusion; topsy-turvy.
Since def. #2 means nothing in this arguement we look at #1 which says PART underneath so MF goes upside-down
Well there you have it.

WHOO!
That first one would show that it does go "upside down". As A turn cannot be a inversion. If it was then Magnum would have loops. (Read last post).
