My favorite newspaper (gee I wonder why :) ) has posted an article today in its paper. You can go over to www.sanduskyregister.com to see it online. Good thing I am passing through Sanduksy today and I can stop and get a few copies. :)

Ohh, one more thing, just a reminder that if your local newspaper, magazine or publication you read and has an article pertaining to Millennium Force or the 2000 season at CP please post a message here so I can get a copy for my MF book, thanks!

I forgot to mention, the front page picture shows a POV of sitting in the lead car that is sitting in the station looking up the lift. WOW!!!!! The picture on the back page shows the lead car sitting in the station with a wodden arch connected to the train to represent the arm/hand span of a rider to make sure that it doesn't hit the ground or any supports. VERY COOL!!!

There's your reason for the pull-through: that's reach-envelope testing. Anything a rider might come into contact with during the ride has to be somehow protected. Ideally such an object should be removed, but if it can't, it needs to be protected so that it doesn't hurt anybody. Kind of like those canvas barriers at the bridge crossovers on Cedar Creek Mine Ride.
