Metro Detroit (w/ x-way shutdowns) to CP

Could someone please give directions from St. Clair Shores, MI to Cedar Point? Before I'm given the mapquest/expedia treatment, my dad informed me that our section of I-94 and downriver I-75 will be shut down this weekend. "Alternate routes advised."

I believe I-94 is open after 12 mile road when traveling west. Also, don't forget that there are detour signs everywhere... I-75 was closed in June when I was coming back from SF and we got off on Telegraph (or something else), but it was clearly marked... you shouldn't have much of a problem.

I believe Telegraph is the alternate route. It will move slower, especially with lights, but should get you back to I-75. Getting to Telegraph will be the trick if I-94 is closed.
