Memories anyone???

Well just like i had stated in the Pointbuzz-I Like forum, i really enjoy being able to read, and express memories of first time rides, and i hope you guys feel the same, so i had started this forum for that very reason, just express the times you have had ona roller coaster at cedar point, at any given time, and thats basiclly it, heres an example with one of my memories:

Millennium Force

I remember riding the Millennium Force for the very first time with my breother justin. On July 17, 2001 at 1:33 A.M. we had gotten on the blue train, in the second to last seat, of the millennium force. I admit it i was a scardy cat at first, and stated going up the hill with my eyes shut, lol, but i was told by my brother that i had to have my eyes open, and hands up the whole ride, or else he wouldn't give me my momney to by the on-ride photo of us. So i did so. I rember going down the hill, and it was just so dark with the lake around us looking like a giant black pit, but anywayz i rember just floating down the hill, and how smooth the ride was, i was so excited i had had my hands up so strait the my elbows had locked in place, and after the ride i couldn't hardly bend them, lol. But i will never forget this memorabile tiem in my life especially becuase i really had to use the restroom when i sat down, but after the ride neither i nor the seat was wet, so i was a little confused. Anywayz this is just a brief idea of my first time riding the Millennium Force.

This is an example of what you can express in this forum, i just had thought it would be a neat forum to start so people can really get to know one another on Point Buzz. well hope you like the Memories foum. Hope to see your memories posted here.

Raptor:

My whole life I had been afraid of coasters that went upside down. This time I decided that I was going to ride the Raptor no matter what.

I was VERY nervous before I got on the ride. I wasn't scared because of the ride itself. I was more nervous that I wouldn't like the coaster, and that I would never want to ride it again. Everyone had told me how fun it was, and I wanted to love it as much as they did.

I gave my flip flops to my friend. She sat them in the bin. Pat sat on the far right, then it was me, then Christina, then Matt. Once I was buckled in I was anxious and excited. I wasn't that afraid anymore. I was swinging my feet and waiting for the ride to start.

When it started up the hill I had my eyes open. I already planned on keeping my eyes completely closed for the first time, but if I had liked it I would go on it again with my eyes open.

When we started going down the hill I closed my eyes. I felt myself going through the loops and the cobra rolls and I actually loved it. I felt like I was flying *hence the name Raptor*. I was not afraid at all when I was on the coaster. There was not one moment that I had not enjoyed.

When we got off, I wanted to go on it again right away so I could open my eyes and experience it like everyone else had. Unfortunately we had to go eat and other crap and I didn't get to ride it the rest of the day

I am VERY glad that I had though. The next time we go back to the greatest place on this earth, I'm going to ride my new favorite coaster over and over and over...with my eyes open . *** Edited 5/15/2004 6:33:08 PM UTC by Jesz***
