Memoribilia you have/love to have

Anybody have any Cedar Point Memorobilia?

I emailed them and asked if I could have one of those construction signs for the new coaster, but they said I coudn't have it. i also think it would cool to have a garbage can.

You think they are just going to send you a sign? Only time you can get stuff like that is if you know someone or win it at an auction.

I've got an entire wall dedicated to CP. I've got midway flags, dozens of buttons, patches, 50-60 brochures, posters, calanders, cups, hats, movies, media kits, maps, soak city booth signs, newspaper/magazne clippings, and a ton of other miscellaneous papers/tickets/.etc

Also have hundreds of photos including a few thousand on my computer that I took this summer with my digital camera.

I have a really old cigar ash tray that looks to be hand painted, that my grandma found in one of her old closets, it is really cool.

I have a lot of what Brian said. The patches, buttons, pins, midway flags, and all the brochures and paper type stuff. But my most favorite Cedar Point memoribilia are my Coaster Mania signs. I have one from every year since '99. I have them all hanging up on a wall. Believe it or not, I got those by just asking!

I go to ebay and look around at things of a "vintage" nature to collect from CP. I have a bunch of older pennants that make a nifty addition to any collection. I recently acquired a really cool straw holder with the park logo on it too. (I paid way too much for it but hey, I wanted it and I got it!) But the coolest things I've gotten to date are my collection of 'squished pennies" in their little collectors folder, and a little metal desktop date reminder that you flip over every day to show the new date on it. It's kinda hard to describe but I still think it's tops!

I have a ton of stuff that I've bought over the years. Ok so actually it's a a lot if stuff I bought in 1999 when I blew about $200 in a day there. My most favorite though was the plastic cup commemorating the 10th anniversary of Magnum. My brother stole it from me (i'm not saying that to be funny) and I haven't seen one like it since. Any ideas as to where I can find another one?

Rob-Knowing you're no stranger to GTTP you should know how to find Sparty's email addy (or any GTTPer for that matter) you just click on their name and it will show their email addy, if they chose to make their profile public.
Anniebelle-I've got one of those 10 year Magnum cups, if you want it, you can have it-just email me your snail mail addy and I will mail it to you no prob! :)
As for my personal collection I have TONS of CP stuff, more than I care to admit. My most prized possessions? Is my Raptor and CP tattoos considered a possession? :) If not, then it's my 94 Raptor calender, and my '00 and '02 work IDs, but there are tons more :)
I too am a freak because I own one of those patch jackets Jeff! But the back of mine has "Cedar Point" painted on it. I save that jacket for special occasions in early May (cough-you guys know when-cough! ;))

I would have to say that my most prized CP possesion would be a Magnum press kit. Also does anybody know where I could find old souvinire maps of Cedar Point, I would like some from 1975-1986 and I have not found any. Do they even exist?

If they make a shot glass, I've got.

I have a menu from the last chance saloon 1980 that lists the price of a draft beer at $1.00...Go figure
