Memorial Day Weekend

So I live about 2.5 hours from Sandusky and I kind of wanted to head to CP over Memorial Day weekend. Trouble is, I don't know how busy it will be.

Has anyone been there on past memorial days and can attest to the line lengths? (I can go either Saturday or Sunday, not Monday).

hhmm, I been there on memorial day weekend but hard to tell on the crowds sometimes. My guess it might be very crowded but I usually go on Sunday and still pretty crowded. The ride lengths it all depends when you go you will find out. The longest I waiting was a little over a hour for raptor.

Changes every year. No one really knows for sure.

When I went in 2002 it was crazy busy, so I vowed never to go again on Memorial weekend. It's a holiday weekend, perfect time to take the whole family to Cedar Point, so don't be surprised at big crowds.

We went in 2005. The crowds weren't bad at all. It was also overcast and rainy most of the weekend. I'll be there again this year. Here's hoping the crowds stay home and wait for Maverick.

Well Saturday will most likely be crowded because saturdays always are..so Sunday is your best bet..but it will still be on crowded on Sunday also because the people dont have school the next day. Monday is your best bet but you cant go Monday so..Sunday would be when i would go..

We tried to do a starlight last year on Sunday on Memorial Day weekend, and it was packed. Like 1.5 to 2 hour wait for TTD and MF, Magnum wait was between 30 and 40 minutes. Monday was much better last year, TTD wait was about 45 minutes and MF was down, so it probably would have been less if MF would have been up. The smaller rides were a 10 or 15 minute wait (on Monday).

In general, the middle day (ie Sunday) is usually the worse on a holiday weekend, because people who decide to stay the night may come up Saturday or they may come up Sunday. Its the only day of overlap.
