Memorial day weekend

How many people are planning on coming to cedar point memorial

day weekend and have hotel reservations made? I am counting the

days.

Ill be there on the Monday of memorial day weekend..is usually seems to be the most not busy of the three days.

I'm pretty sure all the hoping in the world won't open the coaster until May 18th. :)

After last year I'm steering clear of Memorial Day weekend, at least Saturday was really packed, I never was there ON Memorial Day so I'm not so sure. I plan on going during the week this year when it isn't so crowded, I just hope the weather stays the way it has been the past couple of weeks.. no rain.

And for Memorial Day weekend...I'll be dropping at 97 degrees, and smelling chocolate! ;)

Jealousy Mark... jealousy....

I'll be there for 2 days on Saturday & Sunday! Last year I was there for both Saturday & Sunday too. I really didn't think it was too busy. Especially compared to the Saturday's I went in August & September. I'll NEVER do another late September Saturday again (45 min wait for Iron Dragon, 30 for Mine Ride, 2 1/4 for MF).

I think last year had extra people at the park since not only was it memorial day weekend, Maverick opened the same weekend, which I'm sure drew quite a few extra people as well.

Your probably right about that, I had an hour and a half wait for Maverick the weekend it opened, the day it opened. About a 1/2 hour to 45 minute wait for Witches Wheel that same day too, so I thought it was rather crowded comparing to other days I've been there such as opening day or the Sundays that I went.

I just booked our hotel for Saturday & Sunday nights. I got a great rate for Castaway Bay for 5 people, without water park passes. Cheaper than most (decent) hotels in the area for room with 5 people. Plus, all 5 of us can get in for early ride time and not just the two of us who hold platinum passes. Problem solved!

Yeah Mark, I dunno where I got the 18th...hrm.
