MEDIA DAY!

I live in Houston, Texas and I go to the Point EVERY YEAR!! but I can't make it out there until the beggining of June. Does anybody know where I can watch all of this Media Day Coverage.....I want to see video of this thing launch soo bad....I've watched it from birth now I wanna see my baby Walk for the first time...well LAUNCH AT 120 MPH!!!

I have no doubt there will be stations in your area covering this ride. How many would ignore the tallest, fastest coaster in the world?

The only info I have is what I have seen on TV so take it for what it is worth. Lee Thomas said he is going to stick around to see if he can catch a ride.

OMG, I just want to add that Bryan Edwards, Jeffery Spartan, Dan and all the others there right now on Media Day, you guys are doing GREAT and I nearly FLIPPED when I saw all of you's on T.V., Fox 2 News. Awesome!!! Have a GREAT RIDE!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know what Toledo 11 gave as the reason for why they have not rode yet this morning. At the end of their newscast, 7 AM, the reporter said that aside from there being lightning in the area, TTD was down because it was hit by lightning over night. They said the ride mechanics were working to repair damage to the electrical system.

I think the last person on was Old Timer Tim, but that's just from comparing pictures. I missed his name when it was announced. It was definitely Walt earlier, as I heard his name and have seen him on TV before. FOX 8 is off now. Bummer... I really wanted to see them launch. Maybe it will be on the news later today.

Question, other than the media and their guests, who else gets invited to media day? My wife was invited by a local reporter to go. she left this morning and could not sleep last night she was so excited. We know that some ACE members and "special friends of the park" get invites, but how is all that arranged?

Look at the webcams guys. Looks like people are getting on and off. Everything seems to be working fine. :)

For anyone wanting to see coverage of media day, you could try contacting your local news station and see if they can get coverage from their affiliates in Cleveland. I did that before with my local Fox station and they did have on here in North Carolina. I just wrote to them again today and asked if they would show it. I am getting excited. We just decided yesterday that we will be going May 13. Can't wait.

Lots of activity in the construction cam. Looks like everything is fixed and they will start giving rides soon!!!!!
